Monday, January 15, 2024 - Absolutely bonkers. Famous Bressan pepper on top of the typical pinot nose and a storm of ideas in the mouth. There are moments where you could swear it's a young Bordeaux only to morph into an older gentleman smoking a cigar on a leather chair. Quite rustic in style. It is still pinot, with its red fruits, forest floor and wood, but it's also so much more. Feels like a Ferrari engine put inside a Cinquecento body, and by that I mean it roars and demands 100% of your attention. Drinkable now but it could not be clearer that it has many years ahead of it. I won't be opening my second bottle any time soon.
