Friday, March 17, 2023 - Youthful, dense and concentrated Tempranillo made by legendary Vega Sicilia from 32 year old vines located at 700 m of altitude. After fermentation, wine is aged for 12 months in 75% FR and 25% US oak, 80% new. Deep garnet colour, ruby hue. Concentrated fresh aroma of blackberries, black cherries, chocolate, cassis, liquorice, tar, hints of wood smoke. Full body, slightly overly dense and concentrated, with black fruit and spice flavours, balsamic touches, medium acidity and rich, firm mouth coating tannins.
