Monday, December 25, 2017 - From magnum. Translucent rosewood color. Old world nose of cedar wood cigar box, potpourri, and a rocky note. Strangely, none of the orange peel which is, for me, a Cune hallmark. The palate is skinny and very mineral driven, having lost all its fruit. This finishes fast with a short acidic pop. This is good wine that was aged for too long. Surprising, given that this is a large format bottle from what was meant to be a standout vintage.
