90 Points

Tuesday, November 7, 2023 - Solid new world Syrah, not jammy or overripe and not too austere either - kind of a middle-of-the-road style which suits my palate just fine. Some meaty, some briny, some fruit character. Oak a little more prominent than I prefer, but I think it's integrate with some additional age. Drinks pretty young right now, so I think this will age for another 5 -10 years without a problem.
I picked a couple of these up at the winery tasting room ($36 full price), not the great deal at Grocery Outlet that others seemed to have gotten for a song, unfortunately.
