Monday, May 2, 2011 - no ullage. small solid sediment. decanted 4 hours before meal. very tannic at time of decanting. Bright clear red wine. not much nose. 4 hours later tannins less marked but still dominating fruit. I wonder if there is really a fruity wine hidden here and begin to fear there is not. Pleasant but nothing like so good as i had expected.
