Wednesday, January 3, 2007 - Poped one open last night but decanted it for 2 hrs before trying. Very dark extracted looking with great legs. The nose overwhelms you with cherries and other red berries. The first sip totaly coats the entire mouth with a great complex drink. It is very port like in that it is thick and viscous and leaves a great aftertaste of cherries. The finish is very long and I have to find more of these.The wine is years away from its drinking window but it was fun to see what it is today and think about what it will become in 5-10 yrs.
