Monday, September 19, 2022 - Deep dark ruby in color, with thick slow legs. Heady aromas of plum, tobacco, blackberry jam, and a hint of clove and sage; as it warms and opens up, notes of butterscotch and caramel appear. Very bold and tannic, with strong initial tastes of dark fruits. Nice long finish that softens the taste and becomes smoky, adding some warmth to the mix.

Overall, I really enjoyed this wine. It is very robust and full... a 'big' wine without overpowering or being too much of any one note. I would buy this again!
