Monday, April 5, 2021 - Ridiculously deep purple in color. Plum, blackberry, graphite/smoky, oak, vanilla, and a touch of alcoholic heat on the nose. Blackberry, sour cherry, and cedar on the palate. Smooth tannins and medium (+) acidity. A slightly tart finish that transitions to a lingering buttery oak.

4/6/2021 11:21:00 AM - Thanks for the review. I’ve noticed their chambourcin is all over the board year to year - we’ve had beautiful bottles and some more brash. Should this one sit a bit?

4/6/2021 1:15:00 PM - I don't think additional aging will noticeably improve it. I rated it as high as I did because I found it well balanced even if I didn't find it overly complex. So I don't think it needs time to round off any edges and I don't think it'll gain any additional complexity. I'm fairly new to the wine game though so take it with a grain of salt.
