Wednesday, July 28, 2010 - It's not often that I have a Bordeaux with some age on it. This did not disappoint. Nice plum aromas that were affirmed on the initial taste. Eventually this faded to a slight oak and slight spice. There was still some fine granularity in the finish. I don't have any significant experience with aged Bordeaux, but IMHO this wine does not have much time left. Perhaps through 2011.

Had at The Palace in The Cincinnatian Hotel on a business trip. Great service and a great meal including a braised pork shank that just melted off the bone and into my mouth.
