Monday, January 11, 2021 - Tang of slightly bitter, smokey fruit, sweet juice, strong oak, and then it's kind of all over. That tang is punchy enough to make itself known through tomato sauces, decent with pasta. Very mild tannins. The is wine for quaffing, though I note a headache in my notes on the 2017 so I personally am not taking chances on a second glass. Best with food, though you could serve it at a party and most people would enjoy it on its own.
