That tang is punchy enough to make itself known through tomato sauces, decent with pasta. Very mild tannins. The is wine for quaffing, though I note a headache in my notes on the 2017 so I personally am not taking chances on a second glass. Best with food, though you could serve it at a party and most people would enjoy it on its own.
