Saturday, April 22, 2017 - Mid mahogany to brick red rim.
Clear evolution with developed mushroom, dried earth, undergrowth and touch of chalk. the shoulder height was a little low so wasn't expecting too much.
A medium-bodied palate that is soft and pliant with a touch of sweetness, some chalk and earth joining fragments of red berries and dried flowers, talcum powder and cedar.
Not a lot holding it together and sagging in the middle, it is a fun wine to try at 35+ years of age!
