Saturday, December 12, 2020 - My third wine from Rijckaert, and there's a clear style of blossom and grip emerging.
N: Restrained, salty, briny, yellow floral, subtle tart stone fruit, subtle reduction and v. subtle creme anglais.
P: Wonderfully concentrated. Tense tart lemon curd and green apple skins, creating med+ acid that needs air (counter intuitively) to rear its head. Sweet blossom and yellow fruit finesse. Playful. Subtle steely saline edge.
F: Rich, almost Champagne-esque, bruised granny smiths.
