Friday, July 21, 2006 - This is not their Spring Mountain District Napa Valley Cab. This is only available from the winery and is actually from Stagecoach vineyard and was intended on just making a blend, but it came out so good they decided to do a couple hundred cases of this straight Cab. Good nose of wild berry, cassis, blackberry with some smokey oak. The palate was Bursting with black cherry, cassis, currant fruit with some hints of vanilla, smoke, and chocolate. Soft/Supple tannins, very smooth, medium to full-bodied, long finish. For only $30, its a steal.
