Wednesday, September 1, 2021 - Earthy nose with loads of herbs and then damsons and plums, but cooked, maybe in a pie. Massively rich on the panel, like biting into a chewy dense pastry damson or plum pie with cream on it. Also red currant and perhaps black pepper. Lengthy. Roasted rosemary and thyme on the finish, I can taste and smell it as I breathe in. Still plenty of tannin. This is my wine of the night.
