Sunday, April 4, 2021 - Dark ruby color, bit of of earthy nose. I found the flavors subtle , perhaps earthy. was a little bit of heat forward after only decanting 1 hours but later 2 hours much smoother. overall reminded me of a Bordeaux. Subtle but dominant flavors of cherry, hint of licorice at the back end, and oaky spice also on the back end. So this is a subtle wine. So not what i was expecting from the posted description but very nice, will buy again.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like forest floor. The body is light/medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity.
