Saturday, August 28, 2010 - The nose is essentially blackberry jam with brown sugar. The palate follows with blackberries, bacon, beef, and a nice streak of acid to clean it all up. A bit of grit on the texture and missing is the usual blood/iron note. Very long finish. Tasty.
