Tuesday, December 12, 2023 - Casual lunch: Person who brought it opened the night before. Didn’t expect to like this but I did - less natty and sherry-like than older vintages that I’ve tried before (at least it wasn’t deep golden in colour), some nail polish that blew off. Ripe and hedonistic; 15% alcohol showed but wasn’t overbearing. Superb tension and acidity. Perhaps like a well-made white Amarone?
