Tuesday, May 16, 2023 - This really grew on me, especially as the reductive tones blew off to reveal some of the pure fruit underneath. It really needs a longer nap to fully blossom but I loved the extremely mineral-inflected raspberry and black cherry, ripe and densely-packed but still very high-toned, with lots of fresh thyme and salinity. Surprisingly dark and tannic too, definitely one built for aging. It was beautiful now too, just very high and tight, and feels like it trying to burst at the seams.
