It tasted stiff and unready to drink, so we let it breathe for another 90 minutes. After 3 hours, it was still stiff and lacking the vibrant fruit we tasted at the winery. Re-corked and approached it again a day later and it was awful. Completely undrinkable. None of the bold blackberry and currant, no tannins, and little else other than borderline acidic. Waste of $45. Dumped.

Will re-assess after opening the second bottle.
