Friday, February 24, 2023 - Great fruit intensity and purity. I taste residual malic acidity in this wine similar to what I have seen in 2019 Latour Giraud and Philippe Chavy wines. They all have the same oak signature, so maybe that's where this is coming from. I don't like this, but not everyone will notice it to the extent that I do. Overall, this is a fine wine. Try a bottle and see for yourself if the acid structure appeals to you before you buy more. This will be interesting to taste in 6-8 years to see how the malic/oak character resolves.
