Saturday, August 22, 2015 - Lunch at Les Amis. Ex chateau 375ml. Brilliant dark gold. A lovely matured bouquet of apricot, sweetened pineapples, kerosene, honey, vanilla creme, menthol and brown sugar. Tannins had definitely melted away, some acidity left, but this is probably in its prime or perfect drinking window. Apricot, figs, manuka honey, condensed milk, marmalade, with a nice lingering finish.
