90 Points

Sunday, September 17, 2006 - A serious wine good body/structure, clean fresh with flavours of melon and an underlying oakyness. Blend os Antão Vaz / Roupeiro / Arinto made by a large progressive winery. £18.50 on restaurant wine list, £12 to take away. The Butchers Arms - hidden in the English countrysided- is owned by a Portuguese family who import Portuguese wines and although their list (available on their site at http://www.thebutchersarms.com ) has first growths, Ch d'Yquem and more, we always go for the Portuguese wines. :)
