Tuesday, November 28, 2023 - This is a great French wine for the price. Hard for me to judge because I’m not much of a French wine expert. Or even a French wine person. I felt that for the price, as a French wine, this was extremely approachable. I’d drink this again and again. I get lots of oak, vanilla, light acidity, virtually no tannins. Almost a little *extremely* light orangeish citrus tone on the back of the palette, but not in a weird way - a good way. We paired this with a French chicken dish with butter, olive oil, lots of onions and mushrooms. It was a delicious pairing.
