Saturday, September 30, 2023 - This was lovely, and from an excellent producer in Piedmont. We took it to dinner at our friends, and it was popped and poured for dinner. It's medium bodied, with lots of red fruit and spiciness I expect from Nebbiolo. I would agree with another tasting note, this is still pretty tight, and I think a decant would've been useful. I actually switched wines during dinner, to let this one open more and it eventually came around. So for my next bottle I'll give it some time and air before consuming.
