Saturday, December 18, 2004 - The wine is at peak now. The primary fruit is gone and what's left is simply wine, in the best sense. A strong tannic streak remains so there's no rush to drink. The flavor profile resembled a Pauillac as much as it did a St. Julien. Pristine bottles at the current market price of $55 would be attractive.
