Saturday, March 2, 2024 - This is pretty good but really needs substantial air to open up well. I decanted this with time planned for 1.5 hours sitting before dinner time (having seen another note recommending 1 hour to be enjoyable). Immediately after decanting I took a small tasting pour and it was a bit too hot to be enjoyable. After returning with take-out dinner an hour and a half later, it was better but there was still noticeable heat. Took another 30-60 minutes to start drinking nicely in my opinion. Would suggest planning for 2.5-3 hour decant.
