Saturday, January 20, 2024 - Proposed by the waiter in an Argentinian-style restaurant. My first impression was not fully convinced, but interesting, so we did not change it. With some air it clearly improved and worked well with our dinner as an enjoyable table wine. For this wine only 30% of the grapes are aged in oak. Definitely lighter and younger in taste than other wines I'm used to, but very concentrated fruit. The overall result is a charming dark fruit compote taste with a hint of sweetness followed by a medium length body and a good finish. I have wines in my cellar I like more, but this one was a pleasing experience which I would happily repeat.
