Sunday, November 17, 2019 - Beautiful ruby red and no brown rim. Needed a couple of hours to shine. Complex nose with dark red fruit, tar, licorice and spices/tea. Nose was not as hedonistic as the 2001 Barbaresco, but requires attention and time. Very balansed on the palate, leather, smoke and some truffle. Still good tanninstructure. Somewhat difficult to know og this will get better with a few more years in the cellar. Beautiful wine that requires all the attention
