Thursday, August 17, 2017 - Color ruby center with brick red rim. The expressive nose gushes raspberry, sandalwood, anise, and earthy and floral notes. The palate is packed with raspberry, cherry, orange blossom, and sassafras. Prickly acidity initially that balances out with air. Resolved tannins and a medium-bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this was a very complete wine with great aromatics, solid structure, and a lovely flavor profile.
