Friday, May 27, 2022 - Damn this is great. Slow oxd for 8 hrs. First taste, super tight and wound, with grippy tannin, smells of strawberry and pine forest. Brought to dinner. It was starting to show its wares as we enjoyed this over 3 hrs. Revealed more layers of aromatic joy and drank well, even better with the mushroom lasagna. Violets and saddle leather appear. This is great stuff. Could easily be a ringer for reliable Barbaresco. Only one bottle left. Maybe 5 yrs.
