Saturday, October 22, 2022 - A very enjoyable example of New World Pinot noir. Far from the typical Cali PN black Cherry gloop, though would never be mistaken for Burgundy. Remarkably pale in color. Nose is a complex mixture of bing cherries, black tea, rose petals, and hints of white pepper. Same on palate plus some savory notes. Palate is well-balanced, with fairly long finish, and fine tannins. A very well made wine, verging on profound. A reasonable, though not crazy, QPR at $40.
