Saturday, May 3, 2008 - To my palate, this is about as good as Champagne can get. Medium yellow in color and with a very brisk, tiny bead, the aromas on this wine are mesmerizing. Almonds, bread dough, orange peel and cardamom come to mind most readily. The palate shows crisp acidity yet a certain creaminess that is fantastic. The flavors mirror the nose and the finish is long. Stunning stuff. Drink now-12/16.
