Sunday, July 24, 2022 - Medium ruby with a garnet rim. Showing some age. Red and black fruit, red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, black currant. fruit is ripe and fresh. Somewhat jammy. Rose and other red/purple flower. Fennel and thyme. slight pyrazine. Slight baking spices. Wet stone, little to no earth. Some tobacco and caramel notes. Tart and rich fruit on the palate, green herbs. Ripe fruit dominates the finish. Medium acid, medium plus body and tannin. Interesting but not completely balanced.
