Friday, May 26, 2023 - Gorgeous. Red and black fruit. Smoke and perfume. Silk and violets. Intensely aromatic, very fine, subtle tannins. An expression of Syrah that is simultaneously rich and ethereal. Impressive.

5/26/2023 9:23:00 PM - Nothing really compares to Jamet in terms of the sheer, raw, bloody, just perfectly animal expression of Côte-Rôtie. I have only had a couple of Levet, and they are wonderful, more "coloring inside the lines." Just utterly proper.
This Jean-Michel Stephan was much more subtle, silky, more red fruit, more Burgundian, just a really unique expression.
