12/2/2023 6:11:00 PM - It wasn’t “off”. It is from a good appellation and winemaker. It would probably be good with a steak. But, like you opined it’s more a New World style issue for me. Years ago we probably would have loved it but now we prefer cooler climate reds and whites, with lower alcohol and more subtle fruit.

2/28/2024 6:36:00 PM - I feel this is an unfair review. I’d encourage you to drop the rating in acknowledgement that it’s not your style of wine. A decent analogy: let’s ask someone who’s afraid of heights to rate the view from the glass balcony on the top of the Burj Khalifa.
