Wednesday, March 27, 2024 - I have a lot of experience with Petite , and this is far from a stunner. Very muted and depressed aromas and flavors of blackberry, black plum, walnut, dust, mixed herbaceous flavors, menthol, & green marshmallow. The 15% Abv or acid is not the culprit here… but the astringency. It’s dark as tar .. maybe over extracted and has lost its fruit character, it would take Canadian Actress Laysla De Olivera pouring for me to accept another 1/2 glass. Disappointing…… the wine … never her.
