Friday, May 13, 2022 - 14.3% alcohol. This has hit an incredible point in its evolution. Since it was in barrel, this has been an extraordinary Pinot Noir, and it's even more expressive now than ever before. A dark cherry color frames a bouquet that is intoxicating, full of cherry, spice, and now a rich earthy note as the first hints of secondary aromas come out of this wine. In the palate, as this has aged, it has become more lush and velvety. It's incredibly pure, with beautiful balance and still plenty of structure. But it's seamless at this point. I'm not sure I even anticipated this would develop so beautifully. A+
