Sunday, February 7, 2016 - Medium garnet red, brick hue. Nose of dark fruit with some woody, earthy tones as well as green bell pepper scents. On the pallet this is ripe and sweetish similar to an old Claret. There is a green note in thr background complementing the tertiaty CabSav aromas. May be it comes from the CabFranc or PetitVerdot in the blend or CaSav itself was not fully mature. Since the tannins were soft, the green notes did notarticularly disturb me in this case.
