Wednesday, June 28, 2017 - This 15 year old half bottle has a light amber red tinged color, which neither looks nor smells particularly oxidized. The mouth entry is creamy, caressing, juicy, and nutty. But most importantly, the considerable sweetness is well balanced by cleansing acidity, which keeps the wine from ever becoming cloying. Delicious with a wide range of desserts, including creme brulee, chocolate, biscotti, and glazed fruits. Keeps well for weeks corked in the refrigerator.
