Monday, January 2, 2023 - Very easy to drink wine that went quickly. Had a cheap Chilean cab last night that had the trademark green, and it was strong, this Carmenere does have that classic green but is much more elegant with a hint of perfume, cumin, and plum. The palate was juicy high acidity with red fruit, tree bark, cream, perfume, sweet bell pepper and plum. The perfume does take over the green note. Very food-friendly wine but it's missing depth.
