Tuesday, September 9, 2008 - I've become accustomed to Shiraz that is so dark and thick that you'd need a special scientific device in order see through the wine. Here's a surprise, you can peer through this with naked eye. Two distinct flavors, vanilla and tart ripe wild berries. I found it nicely balanced and full of flavor, but not like so many Shiraz that leave you feeling like someone painted your tongue with berry syrup. Plenty of youth to suggest short term cellaring. B+
