2020 Kelby James Russell Dry Rosé

Community Tasting Note

Does not like this wine:

85 Points

Sunday, September 19, 2021 - I thought that being Cab Franc (which I love) and labelled as dry, I would love this. It is very pink, which often spoils a Rose for me, much preffering the barely pinks from Provence, however, what we both found very disappointing for us was how sweet it was. So sweet after one glass we drank no more. A disappointing buy.

9/28/2021 3:14:00 PM - Hi, I am wondering if your experience is in comparison to other vintages. I loved the 2017 and 2019 and was hoping for consistency with the 20’s. Thanks

It is a matter of taste and we have spent a lot of time in the Provence area so I guess our taste buds are influenced by what we taste there and enjoy. I never really enjoy sweet wine unless it is meant to be a desert wine.
