Thursday, January 13, 2022 - It is golden and it is delicious. All the traditional gewurz notes are there: lychee, rose water, honeysuckle, ginger, grape, peach, melon, jasmine, apricot jam, honey, and orange peel. It is sweet but with sufficient acidity not to be cloying. There is no shortage of complexity or flavour intensity. It's a very special wine. I would age it a longer to coax out more of those dried fruit notes.
