Sunday, June 11, 2023 - Notes after 8 hours open. It was profound and beautiful at the pop but the bouquet dropped off dramatically after 30 minutes or so. It stayed muted and stiff for another 4 or 5 hours in a decanter before slowly unfurling again. But then it really came through with lovely aromatics and a plush mouthfeel, in no small part due to the endowment of tannins. This all seems to be coalescing with time in the bottle and air time once opened.
