Saturday, March 26, 2022 - Decanted for one hour. Really terrific. Lovely bordeaux type nose with black cherry, earth and a little tobacco. The wine is fully mature, wonderfully balance, showing none of the excessiveness of modern day caymus. Deep, pure and complex, flavors of black currant, camphor, cigar box and underbrush come through. Finishes nice and long. A great wine from a great vintage.
