Thursday, September 28, 2023 - Four decades of Penfolds Grange (Chicago, IL): Nice weight and heft, as Vilmart often has. Plenty of chewy minerality too, but the acidity is a bit too prominent and this feels like it is lacking a bit of the balance because of it. Chalk (get it?!) it up to the vintage.
