Friday, September 30, 2005 - Beautiful ruby color, although not as clear as other bottles I've drank. The nose on this Chilean cab is amazing. By far the most complex aromatics I've experienced from a South American wine. Aside from the usual burst of black currant fruit typical of excellent Chilean cabs, this Ninquén has graphite, hot stones and flowers. Medium to full bodied with excellent flavor coverage in the mid palate and a long, fruitful finish. This wine has blossomed into a beautiful, elegant New World cabernet with great texture, flavors and the aromatics to round the drinking experience. Drink up.
