91 Points

Sunday, February 10, 2013 - Maybe the biggest surprise in this 2001 tasting. (Gevrey-Chamberin VV, 1er Cru Combe aux Moines from Magnum and normal bottle, 1er Cru Clos St. Jacques and Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru).

Very open nose with red fruits edged by a mineral touch and some asian herbs.
Medium bodied palate, very smooth and silky.
A bit short in the end but this doesn´t dims my enthusiasm about this really excellent village wine.

The wine is on its peak now. Drink it with pleasure over the next year.
