Wednesday, February 28, 2024 - Wow! This is so good. Drank over three days, the wine didn’t change a lot. Still amazing primary fruit with perfect acidity and really smooth tannins. Elegant and intense. Crazy how enjoyable it is at the moment, 96++.

Sorry for my limited english words i am a french taster..
Sometimes Durfort Vivens is showing shut with its so many Cabernet.. quite firm..
And 2020 is a quite fresh vintage.. compared with 18 for exemple.
I tasted 6 bottles before cellaring a few cases.
This is for me a very Margaux style.. with elegance complexity intensity and profundness.. for a long life.
Really to taste with Rauzan Brane and Margaux later one day.
Palmer is quite différent with his merlot and Giscours will become a serious compétitor with his new global owner.
As for Saint Julien we are happy to taste more and more great wines in Margaux with time going.
