Friday, April 5, 2024 - Very dark but not opaque ruby red with purple rim. Blackcurrant, cassis, plum, dark cherry, mint, capsicum, cedar, floral, black truffle, herbs and spices. Full bodied, medium-high acidity, medium-high to high silky tannin, medium-high structure, medium alcohol and long finish. Bold and concentrated black fruits. Complex, layered and well-balanced. Wine had good bite and luxurious palate.

Enjoyable to drink now as a youthful bold claret, and would cellar well for the next 3 decades.
